As a functional podiatrist and human movement specialist, global educator, author and founder of Naboso, my mission is to redefine how we move — from the ground up. With over two decades of experience, I blend barefoot science, human performance, and neuroscience to help people move smarter, age stronger, and stay grounded for life.
Originally trained as a surgeon through Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and Mt Vernon Hospital in Mt Vernon, NY, in 2017 Dr. Splichal put down her scalpel and shifted her practice to one that is built around functional and regenerative medicine.
If you are seeking answers outside of the conventional recommendations of orthotics and surgery, Dr. Splichal stands out for her innovative, comprehensive treatment approach that is built on the foundation of functional medicine and functional movement.

Alina Eitzin – Lead Nail Technician | Assistant Manager, Born to Splay
Alina has been caring for nails for nearly five years and brings deep experience in healing manicures, nail restoration treatments, and essential pedicures. She’s passionate about helping clients strengthen their natural nails while offering a clean, precise, and thoughtful approach to every service.
Outside the treatment room, Alina is a barefoot shoe enthusiast and plays a key role as the assistant manager of Born to Splay. Whether she’s helping a client find the right shoe or offering guidance on how to strengthen and support their feet, Alina is a trusted resource.
Her warmth, attention to detail, and care-centered approach make her an essential part of both the spa and the store.
